Born in Qingdao, China and raised in the Bay Area, California, Amenda Lee is a Film and Television Production major at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts studying sound design and mixing. Her goal is to use her background in classical piano and choral music, as well as her experience growing up in various parts of China and the Bay Area, to help tell stories about intersectionality using immersive sound. During her time at USC, she has worked and trained as a recording engineer and a student assistant for various sound classes while also working as a sound recordist for several award winning short films.
